Snowplow 20154381Snowplow lifting mechanisms require several pivot points. These joints are often greased steel on steel. This alone could be problematic, but add road salt or traction sand into the equation and maintenance is a given. With a time-critical application like this, jury-rigged solutions are often required to return units to the field, leading to unreliable uptime and dubious operational safety.

Solution – Composite Bearings and Bushings

Polygon's composite bearings and bushings contain no metallic components and are non-corrosive. They feature a low friction PTFE lining to overcome even the high friction of a rusted pin and the load capacity to be a lifetime part.
